2nd Annual Be Bold for Breast Cancer Fundraiser was very successful. Set at Mirage Nightclub in Surrey, BC at least 32 men & woman showed up to have their breasts painted. This years partial funds raised went to our most insprational friend Janelle Hughes who unfortunately lost her fight last year. Samantha Rae was lead painter with Jenn Little as her assistant this year. Both are pictured centre bottom row (Sam on L, Jenn on R) . Thank you to Ashleigh Topliss for organizing such a great event and Q Parker for the fabulous photo session.

1st Annual Be Bold for Breast Cancer fundraiser . This was Asleigh Topliss first run at the event with Samantha Rae as lead painter and Janelle Hughes, our brave friend as you can see (centre) after surgery. About 13 girls showed up for this event. Much fun was had by all. Miss you Janelle!! you were an inspiration to us all and we love you.

It was an amazing evening of very high brow elegance and amazing Body Art. This years competition was outstanding. The level of artistry from the contestants was just jaw dropping. I didn't expect to win, as I had won last year, but I was wonderfully surprised when I was selected once again as the winner. It was a very close competition and my artist friends Lucie Brouillard and Jen Little came in 2nd and 3rd place as well. Here are the detailed pics from the night.

Model Nicole Pilich, 2nd place Lucie Brouillard, WINNER Samantha Rae, Model Regina Bair, Model Sky Foletto, & 3rd place Jenn Little.

Guess who was at the Exposed Fashion Show at the Whistler Ski and Snowboard Festival? Me of course and Gene Simmons! He was up there with his crew filming an episode of Family Jewels and decided to take in some of the festivals fun. Of course he couldn't help but notice the Helly Hansen Bodypainting Models. This is me before I got my earred chewed on by Gene! my hair was in a ponytail until he got his hands on it.

In April I was asked to come up with a theme that would reflect the inner feelings and creative expressions of this singing duet. Sketches and costume designs were shared back and forth and this was the first run at the final production.

I was the winner of the Dominelli Bodypainting Competition in April. I worked very true the the rules and regulations for the contest and brought out my best. I was awarded a cash prize of $2000 for my efforts and really enjoyed myself. Green is my favorite color and was my inspiration with this piece.

Bodypainting for Helly Hansen at Whistler Ski & Snowboard Festival

Helly Hansen was participating at the Whistler Ski & Snowboard Festival in a fashion show called "Exposed" they thought it would be neat to Bodypaint their base line fashions that are worn as the first layer to fight off the cold. Both models were painted head to toe so their outfits matched the outfits Helly Hansen was currently promoting in their outdoor sports wear line
