Moon Belly:

Here is a great example of custom work “on the spot” at the Taboo Trade Show. This expectant mother has a rather large Lotus flower tattoo on her lower stomach which I decided to match on either side. She was born at night, referred to as a “Moon Child” by her mother… I helped her carry on the family blessing through a colourful evening painting which features a crescent moon. Completed in approximately 30 minutes, in Vancouver, BC January 2006.

This was a special session! I was contacted by Paul Duchart, who had been working with our model Vanessa. We communicated his idea, I researched and prepared and upon completion of the artwork I managed to exceed his expectations!!

This was definitely one of my all time favorite projects!
